The leaves have not started falling, but the spirit of the holiday season is already taking shape in Morristown!
And, this year, we are excited to share the news that we will be adding an extra day on Friday, Dec. 4, just for the family, especially for moms and their kiddos, to do their holiday shopping.
Planning is officially underway for the 16th Annual Christmas Market at Assumption Church, taking place Dec. 4-6, 2026.
Held at Rauscher Hall, 91 Maple Ave., this beloved holiday tradition brings together talented local and African artisans, specialty vendors, crafters, and local retailers for a festive shopping experience that draws more than 1,500 visitors each year.
Shoppers can look forward to discovering one-of-a-kind gifts, handmade African crafts, holiday décor, local specialty items, and sweet seasonal delights—all in a welcoming atmosphere filled with the magic of Christmas.
For 16 years, the Christmas Market has been more than a shopping event. It has been a celebration of community, creativity, generosity, and giving. Proceeds benefit Africa Surgery and The Village Angels of Tanzania, two Morristown-based charitable organizations dedicated to improving lives through medical care, education, and support in underserved communities.
