Greater Morristown always does Halloween proud.

From the town hall lawn to businesses near the Green, South Street was the place to be for trick-or-treating boys and ghouls (and their costumed parents) on Friday afternoon, courtesy of the town recreation department and the Morristown Partnership.

On Friday night, the Folk Project featured a reading by the Bride of Frankenstein and the Star Trek theme on sax (R.I.P., Admiral Picard, a.k.a. Patrick Stewart, and Chekov, a.k.a. Walter Koenig.)

A pet costume pageant took center stage Saturday outside St. Peter’s; later, the festivities moved indoors for the silent horror classic The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, with organ accompaniment by Anthony Hammond.

Across the street, the Mayo Performing Arts Center celebrated a half-century of The Rocky Horror Picture Show. (R.I.P., Dr. Frank-N-Furter, a.k.a. Tim Curry.)
