Morris Plains school board candidates debate tonight, Sept. 14

Morris Plains voters can size up candidates for the borough school board at a virtual forum tonight, Monday, Sept. 14, 2026.

The action starts at 6:30 pm, on the YouTube page of the League of Women Voters of the Morristown Area.

Five candidates are contesting three seats on Nov. 3.

Those seats are held by incumbents Shawna Longo, Denise Rawding and Steve Goscinski.  The challengers are Anoli Piccirillo and Steven Persak.

Terms are for three years.

Morristown has a long history of people stepping forward in pivotal moments.
