Videos on social media appeared to show more ICE activity in Morristown on Thursday, with possible arrests near the train trestle on Martin Luther King Avenue and the 7-Eleven store on Pine Street.

Morristown Green has not independently confirmed the arrests. We have reached out to the federal Department of Homeland Security for more details.

Morristown Mayor Tim Dougherty said he believes there was an arrest near the trestle, but he had no further information.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents made 12 arrests “near Morristown” on Aug. 14, 2026, according to the DHS. Back in January, ICE detained 11 people, including a Morristown High School senior, in an enforcement action along Speedwell Avenue.
