Look like Living History Weekend will get a second chance to come alive in Morristown. A Nor’easter prompted postponement of the America 250 festivities last month.
Fireworks have been rescheduled for Saturday, Nov. 7, 2026. Viewing locations are the Morristown Green, Pioneer Plaza and Cauldwell Park.
No word yet on whether other associated events — Revolutionary War re-enactments, museum tours and the like — will be rescheduled as well.
The fireworks are sponsored by Sanofi, with help from the town, the fire bureau and Morris County’s 250th Anniversary Steering Committee. Parking will be limited. Spectators are encouraged to walk to viewing locations.
Morristown has a long history of people stepping forward in pivotal moments.
When you chip in to Morristown Green, you’re helping your neighbors stay informed, strengthening our civic backbone,
and carrying on the spirit that’s defined this town since its earliest days.
