Kids in Greater Morristown will get a snow day after all this winter. That day is today, Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2023.
The Morris School District, which had planned a delayed opening, has opted to cancel classes and all other activities because of the snow and sleet.
A winter storm warning remains in effect until 1 pm. Rain, snow and sleet may change to rain at that point. Wind gusts of 30 mph are possible, according to the National Weather Service.
