Express Male comes to Morristown’s Music At Noon, Jan. 16

Music At Noon, the concert series sponsored by Music At Morristown United Methodist Church, continues its 34th season with a concert on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, featuring the vocal ensemble Express Male.

The 30-minute concert begins at 12:15 pm. And will be held in the sanctuary of the Morristown United Methodist Church, 50 Park Place (on the Green).  There is a light luncheon available for purchase before or after the concert (11:30 am  to 1:30 pm).  The cost of the luncheon is $7 for adults and $6 for seniors and students.  There is a suggested donation of $6 adults/$5 seniors for the concerts.  Students are admitted free to all concerts.  Free childcare is available during the concert.  The sanctuary is handicapped accessible.

Express Male is a lively, fun-filled sextet with a dazzling repertoire consisting of serious choral pieces, traditional gospel songs, Broadway favorites and a variety of popular tunes. Formed two years ago as an independent vocal ensemble within The Morris Choral Society, Express Male is quickly taking its place on the Jersey music scene. The members of the group are John Collins of Raritan, Bud Leppard of Morristown, Chip Wood of Basking Ridge, Wayne Walters of Parsippany, Rob Walters of Long Valley, and Nicholas Schumacher of Randolph, with Ken Rapp of Morristown at the piano.
