Barenaked Ladies, talk series coming to Morristown’s Community Theatre

Tickets go on sale Friday for Barenaked Ladies, playing Morristown’s Community Theatre on Nov. 12. The Canadian group is known for such hits as One Week, The Old Apartment, Pinch Me and If I Had a Million Dollars; its latest album is All in Good Time. Tickets range from $49 to $79 (U.S.)

barenaked ladiesThe theater also is launching a series of Tuesday lectures in its Starlight Room, starting with Hollywood Across the Hudson: A History of New Jersey in Film on Sept. 28 at 7:30 pm.

It will feature Mark & Ira Ehrenkranz, producers of the New Jersey Film Critics series that kicks off next month at Headquarters Plaza in Morristown, and Steve Gorelick, director of the New Jersey Film and TV Commission. Admission is $10.

On Oct. 26, it’s SpeakEasy with Maureen Langan,  comedic storytelling for adult audiences. Admission is $20.

The series concludes on Nov. 16 with Adventures in the MunchMobile, with The Star-Ledger’s Pete Genevese. Pete dishes on New Jersey’s coolest eateries. Admission is $10.
