The Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center (WAMMC) has announced the Executive Committee for 2026-2027. WAMMC has a strong, more than 130-year history of providing financial and service support to Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center to enable it to respond to the changing health care needs of the community.
The WAMMC Board consists of the following nine Executive Committee members, 35 Board Members representing 25 committees and six Members-At-Large.

Incoming President Barbara Ruane, a resident of Morristown, has been an active member of the Women’s Association for Morristown Medical Center for more than a decade. During her years of service, she has held a number of leadership positions, including Co-Chair of the Healing Services Committee and Vice President of Healing Services on the Executive Committee. She has also been involved in numerous Women’s Association initiatives and served as Co-Chair of the organization’s two most recent Mansion in May signature fundraisers at Three Fields and Wildfair.
“I am honored to serve as President of the Women’s Association and to build upon the remarkable legacy created by the women who came before us,” Ruane said.
“Our strength has always been rooted in the dedication, generosity and spirit of our members. I look forward to working together to honor our traditions, embrace new opportunities and continue making a meaningful difference for Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center and the community it serves.”
