Video: Trump departs from Morristown Airport

As we’ve said before, regardless of your politics, it’s always a big deal when a U.S. president is in your neighborhood.

Morristown Green contributor Andrew Dutton captured some great video footage Sunday of President Trump departing from Morristown Airport after a weekend at his Bedminster golf club.

The president was helicoptered to the airport by Marine One shortly before 5 pm, and he left on the C-32 (757) version of Air Force One, which appears to have a new paint design akin to its larger model.

Local landmarks in the video include Novartis, and a construction crane near the Hyatt on Park Avenue in Florham Park.

CORRECTION: An early version of this story misstated the type of aircraft carrying the president in Morristown. It was a Boeing C-32.
