Hats off to Derby Day at St. Peter’s in Morristown

St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Morristown celebrated “Derby Day” in style on Saturday. Parishioners gathered to watch the Kentucky Derby at the parish hall and to try to predict the winners.

 The youth group voted on the best hats of the evening and served a dinner of Southern fixin’s such as barbecue and ‘slaw. And many folks went home with prizes, thanks to the evening’s tricky tray.
