Troubadour Concert Series: Tom Chapin

Please come to this Special Concert to celebrate Tom Chapin‘s 80th Birthday Bash. “Tom Chapin and Friends” are masters of numerous instruments, delighting audiences with their rich harmonies, dynamic versatility, and infectious warmth. They’re planning a special show celebrating Chapin’s 80th birthday. Tom is known for his soulful vocals and multi-instrumental talents, performing on banjo, autoharp, and both 6- and 12-string guitars. His career spans six decades, 27 albums, and three Grammy Awards. As a recording artist, concert performer, storyteller, and activist, Chapin has also acted on Broadway and worked extensively in television, radio, and film. Dedicated to social causes, Chapin is a steadfast advocate for the arts, justice, and environmental sustainability.
Accompanying him on vocals are Jon Cobert (piano, keyboards, accordion) and Michael Mark (bass, concertina, marimba, guitar), both five-time Grammy nominees. The band will dazzle you with their full sound, and good humor.
This Special Concert is part of The Troubadour Acoustic Concert Series, Morristown’s Listening Room. Now in its 50th year, the Troubadour is sponsored by The Folk Project each Friday evening at the Fellowship. Admission for this concert is $30.00 per adult at the door, $25 for Folk Project members.
