Temple B’nai Or will open our doors for a joyful Mimouna celebration, marking the end of Passover with music, community, and sweet traditions. All our neighbors are invited to this lively and colorful event appropriate for all ages.

Mimouna is a traditional festival celebrated by Moroccan Jews the day after Passover, marking the return to eating leavened foods. Families open their homes to neighbors and friends and fill their kitchen tables with an abundance of delicious sweets symbolizing fertility, joy, success, health and prosperity. At our Mimouna celebration you will enjoy delicious foods and Moroccan teas, traditional live music, dance, crafts, drumming, henna, shopping, and more, all while learning more about our welcoming synagogue community.

The cost is free to attend but registration is requested.
