Contra dancing with Michael Karcher.

Michael Karcher has been having the time of his life calling dances and weekends around North America since 2011. He has honed a warm and concise style of teaching and calling, to the delight of dancers across the continent.

Tonight’s live band, Torrent, is New York City’s newest contra dance band, featuring Nadia Gaya on accordion, Sarah Stefanski on fiddle, and Ross Parker on piano. Torrent’s driving rhythms and exciting tunes will get you on your feet and dancing!

Beginner’s Workshop before the dance, 7:00pm – 7:30pm.

COVID-19 policy: Participants must show proof that they have been fully vaccinated for more than two weeks. Masking is optional.

If Morris County’s COVID-19 Community Level goes up to Orange, then masking will be required.
