Opera at Florham Presents The Demonic and the Debonair

Opera at Florham‘s second musicale of the season, The Demonic and the Debonair: Men We Hate and Love in Opera, features emotionally charged male arias and duets from the operas, Elixir of Love, Barber of Seville, Don Pasquale, Don Carlo and Faust, performed by baritone Matthew Ciuffitelli, tenor Frederick Schlick, and bass Hidenori Inoue. The second half features American Songbook selections from Ragtime and Camelot and a full company rendition of “Que voulez vous messieurs?” from Faust.
Presented in the beautiful, historic Mansion on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University. Refreshments served at intermission.

Opera at Florham presents professional vocalists in recital, concert, and competition from Opera to American Songbook. A not-for-profit, founded 36 years ago, OaF believes opera is for everyone, and provides low-cost, high-quality events for the community.
The five-musicales series began on Sep 23 with September Song, featuring arias from the fall season of The Met and Broadway tunes including the “The Lady Is A Tramp” Sinatra-style. The musicale series concludes on May 5 with the internationally acclaimed Vocal Competition. Other programs include: Dec 2 Celebrating the Holidays, featuring the Fairleigh Dickinson Choir, and Apr 14, 2019 A Tribute to Opera Legend Licia Albanese.
