Spain in the decadent style of cinematographer Pedro Almodóvar. Our set and costumes are a celebration of Spanish kitsch replete with Chanel clothing, neon signs and pop culture influences. Filled with thrilling music, drama, humor, and a finale so powerfully dramatic that it
changed music forever, this is a production not to be missed!

Director Stefanos Koroneos is the General and Artistic Director of the Teatro Grattacielo. He brings with him the experience of having worked with some of the most distinguished directors and opera directors, including Franco Zeffirelli, Fabrizio Melano, Moisés Kaufman and Richard Bonynge. In 2021, he directed Mozart’s Idomeneo in Heraklion, Greece, followed by Mascagni’s
L’amico Fritz for the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice. In 2022 he directed this new production of Don Giovanni at the Apollon Theater in Syros, Greece, the Phoenicia International Festival of the Voice and Rhodes International Festival, and Giulietta e Romeo by Zandonai for Teatro Grattacielo in Battery Park City, New York.

The performance will also feature Maestro Jason Tramm leading the Light Opera of New Jersey Chamber Orchestra.
