Join MHHM Teaching Artist Lisa Madson for linocut printmaking this holiday season, also known as block printing. In this 2-part class, participants will learn to carve their own design into a printing block and use that carving to create their own prints. Your designs can make perfect holiday cards to share with friends and family. Participants will also be able to explore block prints of Thomas Nast’s cartoons up close from the Museum’s collection.
All supplies are provided.

Pre-registration for this 2-part program is required. Registration includes both class dates. On November 5, participants will carve their printing block, and on November 12, they will use that block to create their prints on paper.
