Commissioned in 2021 by the Edinburgh Just Festival (part of the Edinburgh Fringe), this work combines traditional Latin mass text with prose inspired by the writings of The Rev. Dr. Karen Georgia Thompson on her deeply personal experience losing her father and the new world that resulted for all of us.
Composer Dr. Anthony Hammond now lives and works in Morristown and the choir of St. Peter’s is thrilled to present the American premier of this powerful work, five years on since the world shut down.
