The Morris County Historical Society presents Rocks in the Garden: A Public History of Slavery in Morristown Walking Tour at 10 a.m. and again at 1 p.m. Local historians will lead participants through sites connected to the history of slavery in Morristown, including the Green, the Presbyterian Church Burial Ground, Church of the Redeemer, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and Macculloch Hall. The tour explores the lives of enslaved and freed Black residents, the area’s early enslavers, and the ways slavery shaped local institutions and divisions. Free.
