Historic Garden Tour: Women’s Land Army & Macculloch Hall explores the contributions of local women during World War I at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. at Macculloch Hall Historical Museum, 45 Macculloch Ave., Morristown. The guided garden tour highlights the story of the Woman’s Land Army, created in 1917 to address farm labor shortages as men left for military service. Participants will learn about Dorothea Post, great-granddaughter of the Macculloch family, who organized the local chapter in Morristown, and discover how women helped sustain the nation’s agricultural production during the war.
