It is that time of the year when we gear up to honor and recognize our deceased service members. This year’s Wreaths Across America event will be on Saturday, Dec. 14th (noon sharp) at Holy Rood Cemetery (61 Whippany Road, Morris Township).
Knowing the value the community has placed on the service and sacrifice of veterans, we are again asking for your support.
This year, almost three million graves will be decorated with a Christmas wreath. That includes American military cemeteries in Europe and the Pacific theater of operations.
There are over 850 veterans buried at Holy Rood Cemetery. Please consider sponsoring a wreath or two this year? (Cost: $17 each). The Cemetery participates in the three-wreaths- for-two-wreaths purchased program.
