THURSDAY, SEPT. 26, 2024:
Free yoga continues at the Morristown & Township Library, at 10 am, and every Thursday. At One Miller Road, Morristown.
Also at the Morristown & Township Library: Morristown author Michael Aaron Rockland will give a free 7 pm talk about his celebrated books about the New Jersey Turnpike and the George Washington Bridge. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

FRIDAY, SEPT. 27:
Morristown High’s football varsity,now 2-2 after defeating Clifton 43-6 last week, ventures to Mount Olive to tackle the Marauders (2-1) at 7 pm. Go Colonials!

Critical Mass bike rides have returned to Morristown! On the last Friday of every month, cyclists of all ages and abilities gather at 7:30 pm on the Morristown Green, for a leisurely, family friendly spin around town.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 28:
The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back, every Saturday through Oct. 12, 2024, from 9 am to 1 pm at 771 Speedwell Ave.
The Morristown & Township Library hosts Indoor Qigong at 9:30 am. Free. No experience or registration required. Upstairs in the F.M. Kirby Gallery, at One Miller Road, Morristown.
Morristown residents can bring their dogs and cats to town hall for free rabies shots between 11 am and 1 pm. One year and three-year vaccinations available for pets older than 4 months of age. All doges must be on leash, cats in carriers, and an adult must accompany the animal. Call 973-292-6731 for more.
The 15th annual Ukrainian Festival runs from 11:30 am to 7 pm, at the Ukrainian American Cultural Center in Whippany. Admission: Adults $5. Live music, Ukrainian food, beer garden, more. At 60 North Jefferson Road, (973) 585-7175.
SUNDAY, SEPT. 29:
The Morristown Farmers Market is back, every Sunday through Nov. 24, 2024, from 8:30 am to 1 pm behind the Morristown Post Office, off Dumont Place. Presented by the Morristown Partnership.
At 11 am, the Morris County Historical Association and the Washington Neighborhood Association of New Jersey host a ribbon-cutting for the restoration of the replica Revolutionary War cannon across from Acorn Hall in Morristown, at the intersection of Morris and Lafayette avenues. Free.

The Morristown Partnership also hosts the Morristown Festival on the Green from noon to 5 pm, rain or shine. More than 160 exhibitors are scheduled, plus live music, kiddie activities, a beer tent, and lots of food.

The Madison Community Arts Center hosts a free workshop, Discovering King Lear, Session 2, with Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso, from 1 pm to 5 pm. At 10 Kings Road.
