No, not that Helen of Troy.

But the mythological Greek beauty might have appreciated some of her namesake’s global consumer brands, such as Revlon hair tools, Belson styling tools, and Oxo home products.

The multinational Helen of Troy corporation will open an office in the former Morristown headquarters of the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation at 14 Maple Ave. in a few months, according to Nicole Fox, executive director of the Morristown Parking Authority(MPA), which owns the environmentally acclaimed building a block from the historic Morristown Green.

“We are delighted to be expanding our footprint to Morristown,”  Noel Geoffroy, CEO of Helen of Troy, said in a statement.

“We were drawn by the unique aspects of this GOLD LEED Certified building and the dynamic community of Morristown, allowing us to continue to innovate and collaborate collectively. We are excited about the future and look forward to becoming an integral part of Morristown,” said Geoffroy, who will work in Morristown along with other members of the company’s global leadership.

”We welcome Helen of Troy, a dynamic and innovative company, to join Morristown’s thriving business district. I’m certain that they will have a positive impact in the community,” said MPA Chairman Cary Lloyd.

Helen of Troy has taken a six-year lease for 13,750 square feet, Fox said. The Dodge Foundation relocated to Newark last December.

Thanks to the Dodge Foundation’s input, 14 Maple was an environmental showcase when it opened in 2009. Boasting geothermal wells, window sun shelves, a green roof, and an air-cleansing biowall (since dismantled), the building received a Gold level LEED Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council in 2011.

Incorporated in Texas as a family business in 1968, Helen of Troy topped $2 billion in sales this fiscal year, according to its website. The company employs 1,900 people, with offices or teams in El Paso, Texas, its U.S. headquarters; Boston; Lausanne, Switz.; and Shenzhen, China.

Helen of Troy began trading on the NASDAQ in 1972, and reorganized in Bermuda in 1994. “Elevating Lives, Soaring Together” is its marketing slogan.

Other home/outdoor and beauty/wellness brands owned or licensed by the company include Vicks, Hydro Flask, Osprey, Honeywell, Drybar, Bed Head, Curlsmith and Protec.

CLARIFICATION: An earlier version of this story, using information from Helen of Troy’s website, listed Brut among the company’s holdings. A corporate spokesperson said Helen of Troy divested that brand in 2021. And the company’s Revlon license is for hair tools, not cosmetics, the spokesperson clarified.
