From the Morristown Partnership:
2023 CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL AT THE MORRISTOWN GREEN
Santa’s Arrival scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 26th 5:00 p.m.
Here comes Santa Claus! The kickoff of the Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green, and the arrival of the much beloved Santa on the Morristown Green, is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 26, 2023, at 5 p.m.
Presented by the Morristown Partnership, Santa’s Arrival will coincide with the “Countdown to the Lighting of the Green,” featuring seasonal décor, thousands of dazzling lights on the Green and stunning lamppost wreaths throughout downtown.
Look for a new centerpiece tree on the Green this year, as well as updated arches and new
bows accenting the town wreaths. The Santa House has also been charmingly upgraded, enhancing its festive appeal.
A full calendar of family friendly activities has been scheduled for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays throughout the month of December concluding on Sunday, Dec. 17th and is available on our website and/or via our QR code included on the event poster displayed throughout town.
This event is made possible thanks to generous sponsors 40 North Restaurants, Atlantic Health System – Morristown Medical Center, Hyatt Regency Morristown, Lakeland Bank, Morristown Airport, Primrose School of Morristown, SJP Properties, The Education Association of Morris (T.E.A.M.) and Valley Bank. We offer our sincere thanks to all our sponsors who support this time-honored Morristown tradition.
In addition to the news sights of the season, the sound of holiday carolers will fill the air while event sponsor Hyatt Regency Morristown returns once again to provide cookies, hot chocolate and hot apple cider to warm those gathered to enjoy this special night. Visits with Santa will continue until 8 p.m.
“There is nothing more magical than experiencing the holidays in festive downtown Morristown and one of the highlights is the Christmas Festival at the Morristown Green. The Hyatt Regency Morristown is proud to be a sponsor of this timeless event and we look forward to kicking off the holiday season with our wonderful community” said Kristine Blake, area director of sales, events & marketing.
