Outdoor yoga returns to Morristown & Township Library, May 1

From the Morristown & Township Library:

The Morristown & Township Library kicks off its 2023 Library Wellness season today, Monday, May 1, at 6 pm with bi-lingual yoga on the lawn, led by Megan. Thursday sessions on the lawn start this week at 10 am, led by Roseann.

These free classes run through mid-October.

A spring session of Attentive Walking led by Anita occurs at 6 pm on Wednesdays, May 3rd, 17, 24 and June 7th.  Attentive Walking is an opportunity to put into practice some Mindfulness techniques for use during outdoor activity.

The library also is extending Moonlight Meditation thanks to Long Hill Library for the first three weeks in May. See the library site for details.

Qigong will continue indoors all year long on Saturday mornings at 9:30am led by Bianca, changing in July and August due to the Library’s summer hours.

In case of bad weather, the library will decide whether to cancel outdoor events an hour before the start times. Regular participants will receive emails; the public also can call 973-538-6161.
