Two months of lane closures at I-287 exit ramp 35 in Morristown, starting March 15

From the New Jersey Department of Transportation:

I-287 southbound Exit 35 ramp to Route 124 left lane closure beginning Wednesday in Morristown, Morris County
I-287 southbound right lane closure also required Wednesday

 

One of two left turn lanes on the I-287 southbound Exit 35 ramp to Route 124 is scheduled to be closed Wednesday in Morristown, Morris County.

From 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, one of two left turn lanes on the I-287 southbound Exit 35 ramp to Route 124/Madison Avenue is scheduled to be closed for drainage pipe repairs on I-287 southbound.

Motorists wishing to turn left onto Route 124/Madison Avenue eastbound will be shifted to the right into the open left turn lane. The right turn onto Route 124/Madison Avenue westbound will remain open. The single left lane closure is expected to remain in place for approximately two months.

In addition, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 15, the right lane on I-287 southbound is scheduled to be closed just after the Exit 35 ramp to Route 124/Madison Avenue for work related to the drainage pipe repair.

Motorists are advised to slow down, use caution and expect delays, when driving through the work zone, or plan an alternate route.
