The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Greater Morristown, from 6 pm today, Monday, March 13, through 6 pm on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
Six- to eight inches of snow may fall, alternating with rain, with winds gusting to 40 mph.
“Travel could be very difficult. The hazardous conditions could impact the morning or evening commute,” according to the weather service.
Openings will be delayed two hours on Tuesday for classes in the Morris School District.
Morristown residents can park free in the Morristown Parking Authority’s DeHart, Dalton and Ann/Bank garages from 5 pm Monday until 9 am on Wednesday, March 15, 2023. You may be required to show your driver’s license as proof of residency to avoid parking fees.
