Spooky things come to those who wait.
Delayed a week by weather, the 13th Annual Pumpkin Illumination by Morris Arts drew a huge turnout to the Vail Mansion reflecting pool in Morristown on Sunday.
Pumpkin carvers from all over brought creations large and small to show off on a crisp, clear evening.

Kids dressed in their best costumes enjoyed a huge coloring mural, and a luminary parade led by Mayor Tim Dougherty and a dazzling mechanical skeleton by artist Dan Fenelon.

The Alex De Lazzari Quartet provided musical accompaniment as the parade marched around the Vail Mansion driveway. Then the revelers turned their pumpkins around to face the pool, for a beautiful Halloween display.

The fun continues on Monday–Halloween–with a Ghostly Gathering on the town hall lawn, at 200 South St., from 2 pm to 5 pm. Look for treats, snacks, and a photo booth.

Boo! Happy Halloween!

Congrats on another fun event, Dan. Your towering Halloween skeleton should tour the state–very cool!
Thanks Kevin and Morristown Green for all your support!
