Former Morristown Ambulance Squad announces scholarship recipients

From Morristown Emergency Memorial Scholarships Inc.:

The Board of Trustees of Morristown Emergency Memorial Scholarships is pleased to announce a total award of $20,354, to 12 recipients.

Morristown Emergency Memorial Scholarships was founded in 2020 following the dissolution of the Morristown Ambulance Squad Inc., which had provided 58 years of dedicated volunteer service to the Town of Morristown.

The mission of Morristown Emergency Memorial Scholarships is to 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥/𝘰𝘳 𝘧𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘶𝘤𝘤𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘱𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘤𝘢𝘳𝘦.

The award recipients include:

● 𝗕𝗿𝗲𝘁𝘁 𝗕𝗶𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴, volunteer EMT since April 2010, pursuing MD at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University
● 𝗚𝗮𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝗻𝗯𝗮𝘂𝗺, volunteer EMT September 2016 to May 2019, pursuing BSN at Saint Elizabeth University
● 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝘆, volunteer EMT since May 2014, pursuing Master of Arts in Clinical Counseling Psychology at Centenary University
● 𝗔𝘂𝗯𝗿𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗺𝗯𝘀, volunteer EMT since April 2019, pursuing BSN at Caldwell University
● 𝗦𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗖𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗮, volunteer EMT since June 2015, pursuing Respiratory Therapy/Associate in Applied Science at County College of Morris
● 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿, volunteer EMT since August 2018, pursuing Nursing at Ramapo College
● 𝗞𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼, volunteer EMT since November 2019, pursuing Nursing at Ramapo College
● 𝗝𝗲𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘄𝗲, former volunteer with Morristown Ambulance Squad, pursuing Family Nurse Practitioner at Ramapo College
● 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮 𝗦𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗲, volunteer EMT since 2016, pursuing Major in Public Health / Minor in Forensic Psychology at East Carolina University
● 𝗥𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝘁𝗲, volunteer EMT since March 2019, pursuing Health Economics at Emory University
● 𝗞𝗲𝗹𝘀𝗲𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗽𝘀𝗼𝗻, volunteer EMT since 2012, pursuing MD at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School
● 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻 𝗬𝗲𝗵, volunteer EMT since December 2014, pursuing Doctor of Physical Therapy at University of Findlay

The above recipients were chosen based on their transcripts, many appearing on the Dean’s list as well as their dedication to the medical field they have chosen.
