Come learn how you can move your finances away from funding fossil fuel extraction, production and distribution…and instead see your deposits, premiums and investments used to fund local businesses and farms, affordable housing and the development of renewable clean energy.
The Morristown United Methodist Church’s EarthAware/GreenFaith ministry is hosting the individual divestment workshop led by Michael Richardson of Rivers and Mountains GreenFaith Circle this Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022, from 11:30 am-1 pm.
Light lunch will be served. No reservations necessary!
All are welcome to join us at 50 S. Park Place, Fellowship Hall.
And as a follow up, please join us in a protest march around the Green, Sunday, Oct. 9th at 1 pm. We will be marching with signs in support of the UN’s goals for saving the planet and ending fossil fuel investments.
Presuming all attendees will be sans any apparel that used fossil fuels to manufacture garments. All will walk to venue-no electric vehicle excuses that are charged using fossil fuels. No HVAC use and of course lights will be off. And only cell phones that didn’t require fossil fuels to exist.
