2022 MORRISTOWN FESTIVAL OF BOOKS WELCOMES JAMES PATTERSON
World’s best-selling author will headline the Main Festival Closing Event
as well as a special presentation at KidFest

The Morristown Festival of Books is thrilled to welcome James Patterson, the world’s best-selling author! Patterson’s appearance at the exciting Closing Event will cap off New Jersey’s premier book festival.

Patterson, who has sold over 300 million books worldwide, will be joined in conversation with Carol Fitzgerald of The Book Report Network. This session also will feature an audience Q&A.

Each $50 event ticket includes a copy of Patterson’s newest hardcover thriller, Blowback. This special event takes place on Saturday, Oct. 8th, at 5:15 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church on the Green (57 East Park Place).

Blowback explores the question, is anyone above the law? CIA agents Liam Grey and Noa Himel serve at the pleasure of the president, yet the agents have sworn to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. When the threat comes directly from the Oval Office, that’s where the blowback begins.

Patterson is also coming to KidFest! This free appearance on Saturday, Oct. 8th, at 4 p.m., will take place at the Presbyterian Parish House (65 South St.). Patterson will engage with his many young fans, highlighting three of his books for young people: Ali Cross: The Secret Detective, The Elephant Girl, and The Girl in the Castle. It is a don’t-miss event for all middle and high school kids, teachers, and Patterson fans of all ages.
