THURSDAY, SEPT. 8, 2022:
The Morristown & Township Library presents yoga on its side lawn at 10 am. Free. Please bring your own yoga mat and equipment. At One Miller Road, Morristown.
Or, if you simply want to stretch your mind, step inside the Morristown & Township Library at 10 am for the Morning Book Club. Morris Township’s environmental commission presents a 7 pm talk about energy aggregation–can it save money for residents? Utility officials and other experts will talk at the municipal building, on Woodland Avenue; you also may participate via Zoom.

The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back for 20th season, from 9 am – 1 pm every Saturday through Oct. 8, at 771 Speedwell Ave., the Speedwell Avenue Extension — across from The Plaza Restaurant and Taylor’s Consignment Shop.

SUNDAY, SEPT. 11:
The Morristown Farmers Market is back for its 32nd season, every Sunday through Nov. 20, 2022, from 8:30 am to 1 pm, behind the Post Office in Morristown Parking Authority Lot 10 at Spring and Morris Streets. Presented by the Morristown Partnership.
Carl Asaro Jr., son of a fallen New York City firefighter, will address Morris County’s 9/11 remembrance, at 6 pm at the county’s 9/11 Memorial on West Hanover Avenue in Parsippany-Troy Hills. All are invited. Seating is limited; please bring lawn chairs to the outdoor observance. Parking will be available at the Morris County Department of Human Services building at 340 West Hanover Ave., on the Morris Township side of the street. Shuttle buses will be available for those in need for the short distance to the memorial. Read more here.
MONDAY, SEPT. 12:
Morris Plains will mark the 21st anniversary of 9/11 with a 10 am service at the borough’s 9/11 Memorial Park, at Speedwell Avenue and Tabor Road. Morris Plains Volunteer Firefighter Greg Manning, who is retired from New York’s Fire Squad 41, will deliver the keynote.
