THURSDAY, AUG. 18, 2022:

The Morristown & Township Library presents yoga on its side lawn at 10 am. Free. Please bring your own yoga mat and equipment. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Jazz favorite Grover Kemble performs at Rockaway’s Caffe Navona, 147 Route 46, from 6 – 9 pm. See our review of his recent Troubadour gig.

Morristown’s Mayo Performing Arts Center presents Air Supply at 8 pm. Tickets: $59-$109. At 100 South St., call 973-539-8008.

The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey in Madison presents The Metromaniacs, adapted from Alexis Piron’s 18th century comedy La Métromanie, at 8 pm. Preview tickets: $15-$69. Performances through Sept. 4, 2022. At 36 Madison Ave., 973-408-5600.


FRIDAY, AUG. 19:

Madison’s Museum of Early Trades and Crafts continues its free summer concert series with Peter & The Master Keys from 6 pm to 8 pm. At 9 Main St., (973) 377-2982.

At 7:30 pm, the Folk Project’s Troubadour series presents Celtic guitar wizard Tony McManus, with the Folk Project’s Jean Scully and Friends as openers, at the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship. The Mayo Performing Arts Center presents Manhattan Comedy Night, at 8 pm. Featuring JL Cauvin, Nathan MacIntosh, Zarna Garg, Wyl Sylvince and Gregg Rogell. Mature content; adults only. Tickets: $25-30.  At 100 South St., Morristown, 973-539-8008.

SATURDAY, AUG. 20:

The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back for 20th season, from 9 am – 1 pm every Saturday through Oct. 8, at 771 Speedwell Ave., the Speedwell Avenue Extension — across from The Plaza Restaurant and Taylor’s Consignment Shop.

The Morris Museum welcomes the Evan Sherman Big Band to its parking deck roof in Morris Township at 8 pm. Each 8-by-8 foot block is $50 and accommodates two patrons. BYOB and BYO chairs and picnics. Rain moves the show inside the Bickford Theatre. At 6 Normandy Heights Road, 973-971-3721.


SUNDAY, AUG. 21:

The Morristown Farmers Market is back for its 32nd season, every Sunday through Nov. 20, 2022, from 8:30 am to 1 pm, behind the Post Office in Morristown Parking Authority Lot 10 at Spring and Morris Streets. Presented by the Morristown Partnership.

The 2022 Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey Summer Music Festival concludes at 4 PM at the Madison Community Arts Center with Brian Lam performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto in D minor, with works by Bach, Bourdeau and Beethoven. Free; donations welcome. Limited indoor seating; bring a lawn chair for outdoor seating. At 10 Kings Road, Madison.

The Junior Colonials Ice Hockey program will also be hosting a free Sunday Night Skate at Mennen Arena in Morris Township for boys and girls ages 6 through middle school, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
