VISIT THE MARKET STREET MISSION THRIFT STORE
ON NATIONAL THRIFT STORE DAY – AUG. 17, 2022

Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2022, is National Thrift Store Day, and the Market Street Mission invites you to celebrate with us by visiting our thrift store at 25 George St. in Morristown! In honor of Thrift Store Day, we are offering a 10 percent discount on all purchases.

Open Monday through Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., the store offers new and gently used items of all kinds, including clothing, furniture, household goods, and a host of rescued treasures and rare finds.

All revenue is used to support the Mission’s life-changing programs and services—like meals, shelter, and addiction recovery—for struggling neighbors right here in northern New Jersey.

The store also provides a training ground where residents of Market Street Mission’s long-term addiction recovery Life Change Program can learn vital workplace skills as they perform retail functions and work on the donation dock.

At our store, not only will shoppers find a variety of items at reasonable prices, but they will also feel good knowing their purchase is helping their neighbors who turn to our ministry for food, shelter, practical resources, and faith-based guidance.

Just as important, the community can also support the store and Market Street Mission by donating goods to stock the shelves.

A list of accepted and most needed items can be found on our website. Our donation dock is open 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every day except Wednesdays and Sundays.

Make sure to stop by, meet our team, and shop with us on Aug. 17th to celebrate National Thrift Store Day!
