THURSDAY, AUG. 11, 2022:

The Morristown & Township Library presents yoga on its side lawn at 10 am. Free. Please bring your own yoga mat and equipment. At One Miller Road, Morristown.

Looking for a quick and easy summer road trip?  The Somerset Patriots, the Yankees’ AA affiliate, play the Hartford Yard Goats (?) at 11 am at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater.

Morristown’s Macculloch Hall Historical Museum presents Art in the Garden with Lisa Madsen, at 1 pm. This free session will focus on printing techniques. Smock recommended. At 45 Macculloch Ave., 973-538-2404.

SATURDAY, AUG. 13:

The Morris Plains Farmers Market is back for 20th season, from 9 am – 1 pm every Saturday through Oct. 8, at 771 Speedwell Ave., the Speedwell Avenue Extension — across from The Plaza Restaurant and Taylor’s Consignment Shop.

The Morris County Tourism Bureau concludes its 2022 Summer Walking Tours at 11 am, with Bones and Stones. Tickets: $25, registration required. Guided by Carol Barkin, this tour begins at 6 Court St., Morristown, and winds from the 1827 Courthouse to the historic 1733 graveyard. Tour recipients will receive $10 gift certificates from the Morristown Partnership. Email here for more, or call 973-631-5151.

This event has been postponed. The Baroque Orchestra of New Jersey continues its Summer Festival with a 7:30 pm Summer Cabaretfeaturing orchestra singers and pianist John Pivarnik. Tickets: $25. At Grace Church, 4 Madison Ave., Madison, 973-669-1640.

The Lot of Strings Music Festival welcomes the Boston-based Balourdet Quartet to the parking deck roof at the Morris Museum in Morris Township, at 8 pm. Each 8-by-8 foot block is $50 and accommodates two patrons. BYOB and BYO chairs and picnics. Rain moves the show inside the Bickford Theatre. At 6 Normandy Heights Road, 973-971-3721 .

SUNDAY, AUG. 14:

The Morristown Farmers Market is back for its 32nd season, every Sunday through Nov. 20, 2022, from 8:30 am to 1 pm, behind the Post Office in Morristown Parking Authority Lot 10 at Spring and Morris Streets. Presented by the Morristown Partnership.

The Morris County Historical Society at Acorn Hall in Morristown presents A Tale of Two Sisters: Mary & Julia Crane, a 1 pm tour of Crane family treasures. Admission: $5-$7. At 68 Morris Ave., 973-267-3465.

The Junior Colonials Ice Hockey program will also be hosting a free Sunday Night Skate at Mennen Arena in Morris Township for boys and girls ages 6 through middle school, from 6:30 – 7:30 pm.
