The Morris County Sheriff’s CrimeStoppers program is offering a reward for information that helps authorities solve a Morris Plains burglary.

At 5:55 a.m. on Monday, a man entered from the back of the Morris Plains Pharmacy at 712 Speedwell Ave. and spent less than two minutes attempting to find the cash register, according to video surveillance examined by police.

Nothing else appears to have been disturbed. Police found the back door open, with its locking cylinder removed, Sheriff James Gannon reported.

Anyone with information about the Aug. 1, 2022, incident is asked to contact CrimeStoppers online, or call 973-COP-CALL, or use the free “P3 Tips” mobile app. You can remain anonymous and still qualify for a $1,000 reward, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
