On March 18, 2022, leaders from the Morristown Area Girl Scouts, a local service unit of the Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey, attended the Interfaith Food Pantry Network’s (IFPN) unveiling of its annual Giving Tree.

The Giving Tree is an artistic representation of a tree with color-coded leaves, birds, and apples that spans several walls of IFPN’s lobby.

Colors in the design acknowledge the generous contributions of individuals, companies and organizations that support the food pantry’s mission to improve the health and well-being of Morris County residents.

IFPN recognized Morristown Area Girl Scouts for its donation of 4,699 pounds of food, which was the culmination of two food drives the local Girl Scouts conducted in February and December 2021.

The lobby is open to the public to view the Giving Tree at 2 Executive Drive in Morris Plains.
