From Morristown High School Theatre:

Morristown High School Theatre will perform the musical comedy Something ROTTEN!, by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, with music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick with four performances March 25-27, 2022. Directed by Stephanie Rubin with Assistant Director Alysha Wecht.

Set in the Renaissance, Something ROTTEN! is the uproariously funny story of two brothers, Nick and Nigel Bottom who dare to compete with William Shakespeare in theatrical pursuits by creating a musical production.

According to the MHS Theatre Director, Stephanie Rubin, “This quick-witted satirical comedy reinforces the message behind Shakespeare’s famed words ‘to thine own self be true,’ with a side of tap dancing eggs. A true spectacle for the ages, Something Rotten! is the perfect second course to MHS Theatre’s year of rebirth.”
