Barber to address Morristown virtual MLK Day observance, Jan. 17

From the Morristown Martin Luther King Observance Committee:

The Rev. William Dr. William J. Barber II, founder and president of Repairers of the Breach, will deliver the keynote talk at Morristown’s 52nd annual MLK Day observance, on Jan. 17, 2022.

Again this year, the program will be virtual.  It runs from 10 am to 1 pm.  Register here.

  • Rebuilding the Economy
  • Culture wars: Critical Race Theory/Cancel Culture/Black Lives Matter

  • Realities of Today’s Injustices: Present and Future Hope

Presented by the Martin Luther King Observance Committee, MLK Day is sponsored by Atlantic Health System and in collaboration with the Morris Area Interfaith Clergy Council.  It is supported by Morris County organizations and churches and serves to bring the Beloved Community dreamed of by Dr. King to the  community.
