The Salvation Army’s Morristown Corps was busy on Tuesday, distributing Thanksgiving baskets and six tons of veggies, fruits and fresh eggs and milk at its Spring Street facility.
Free COVID- and flu shots also were available, along with 100 coats for giveaway and free hot dogs, coffee and hot chocolate for people waiting in line.
Some 400 families were anticipated, according to the Salvation Army. Columbia Bank sponsored the event.
