A flash flood watch is in effect for Greater Morristown through Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 26, 2021, with a coastal storm expected to dump two- to four inches of rain, and possibly more, according to the National Weather Service.

Gov. Phil Murphy declared a state of emergency on Monday, ahead of the Nor’easter.

“Residents should stay off the roads, remain vigilant, and follow all safety protocols,” Murphy said.
