That’s right, your Greater Morristown entertainment options this weekend span from an Abba tribute concert to health tips co-sponsored by the Sigma Zeta Lambda Chapter  of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc.

Indigo Girls and Judy Collins are coming, too. Between shows, you can show off your pumpkin prowess by the Vail reflecting pool.

And that’s just for starters.

THURSDAY,  OCT. 21, 2021:

Relax and decompress at 10 am, with yoga on the side lawn of The Morristown & Township Library. Please wear a mask to enter and exit the session, and bring your own yoga mat and desired equipment. The event is open to all ability levels and no sign-up is required.

The African American Wellness Coalition is sponsoring a virtual Women’s Night Out at 6:30 pm. A collaborative effort of Morris County organizations and churches, Women’s Night Out will provide education on women’s health. FRIDAY, OCT. 22:

The Folk Project’s weekly Troubadour  series presents a special concert, Deeper Than the Skin, an examination of race in America featuring Reggie Harris, who is Black, and Greg Greenway, who is white, at 7:30 pm in the Morristown Unitarian Fellowship in Morris Township. Admission: $25; livestream, $3.99. Proof of vaccination required for live show; no children under 12 (until they are eligible for vaccination). At 21 Normandy Heights Road.

SATURDAY, OCT. 23:

Morristown’s 25th annual Community Health Day goes virtual from 10 am to 1 pm. Sponsored by Atlantic Health, with many community partners.  Free; registration requested.

Help Morris County law enforcement fight substance abuse and addiction, as part of Operation Take Back. From 10 am to 2 pm, citizens are encouraged to anonymously deposit expired, unused, or unwanted prescription drugs at a designated site for proper disposal. Sites include Shoprite of Greater Morristown, 178 East Hanover Ave., Cedar Knolls; Stop and Shop Supermarket 245 Littleton Road/US 202, Morris Plains;  and ACME Supermarket, 690 Millbrook Ave., Randolph. The Washington Association of New Jersey will host a 3:30 pm ceremony marking completion of $1.4 million in improvements at Fort Nonsense, a Revolutionary War outpost in Morristown.  Representatives of the Morristown National Historical Park and public officials are expected to attend. The hilltop, with its view of fall foliage, can be accessed from Ann and Chestnut streets.

The annual Light the Night fundraiser for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society starts at 4 pm with festivities at 340 Mt. Kemble Ave. in Morris Township, followed at 7 pm with the walk at the Keystone Property Group’s APX headquarters, at 410 Mt. Kemble Ave. Plenty of parking, dogs welcome. A virtual event also is planned for Nov. 4. See website above to register.

The Harmonium Choral Society returns to live concerts with Choral Cosmos, featuring the Chamber Singers performings works from Taneyev to jazz, and from the Renaissance to the 21st century, at 7:30 pm, Grace Episcopal Church, 4 Madison Ave., Madison. SUNDAY, OCT. 24:

The Morristown Farmers Market is open every Sunday through Nov. 21, 2021, from 8:30 am to 1 pm, in parking lot 10J, behind the Morristown Post Office at Spring and Morris Streets. The Morristown Partnership welcomes 17 new vendors this year. Persons at high risk for COVID-19, as defined by the CDC, may be admitted early, at 8 am.

Acorn Hall and Willow Hall in Morristown join forces for Turning Leaves and Tea, starting at 11 am with a tour of Acorn Hall, followed at 12:30 PM by sweet and savory tea at Willow Hall. Tickets: $30, you must RSVP by Oct. 22 at 973-267-3465.

For original music, join The Folk Project for Joe Guzzo’s Stayaway Sundays Show at 3 pm. Each week, Guzzo presents fans with video performances from events past, interviews with performers, and his own take on the world of music.

Morris Arts presents the 11th annual Morristown Pumpkin Illumination, from 5 pm to 8 pm at the Vail Mansion lawn and plaza at 110 South St. Bring your carved, illuminated pumpikins!  Live jazz by The Alex Lazzari Quartet will kick things off. Local artist Dan Fenelon and students from the Morristown High School theater and art departments will host interactive workshops for people of all ages, before the luminary parade.
