LWV, Chamber co-hosting candidates debate for Morris County Commissioners, Oct. 26

League of Women Voters and Morris County Chamber of Commerce to host
Morris County Commissioners Debate on Oct. 26 at 7 PM

 

With the goal to promote informed voting, three chapters of the League of Women Voters of New Jersey and the Morris County Chamber of Commerce are co-hosting the following debate.

RACE – Morris County Commissioners: Seven candidates are running for three seats, each for a term of three years. Each candidate will make a brief opening statement and then answer questions submitted in advance by members of the community. Submit questions for the candidates to https://tinyurl.com/3mb2vppz until Sunday, Oct. 24, 2021, at 6pm.

  • Stephen Shaw (R), incumbent
  • Ederle Vaughan, Working Families Party, has not responded to the invitation to debate.

DATE/TIME: Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at 7:00 pm

VIRTUAL LOCATION: The debate will be held as a Zoom meeting, and livestreamed / available for viewing afterwards on the Morristown Area League of Women Voters YouTube channel.
