From the Morristown United Methodist Church:

The Morristown United Methodist Church partnered with the League of Conservation Voters on Sunday for the kickoff of the congregation’s new environmental awareness and climate justice ministry, EarthAware.

The League of Conservation Voters has built a powerful nationwide movement advocating for climate change.

The nonprofit hired artist Anthony Cappetto to create an 8 foot-by-11 foot chalk mural on the sidewalk in front of the church.
League members also talked with passersby about upcoming congressional legislation to make climate action a priority in the infrastructure package.

Check out the stunning mural outside the church, near the Morristown Green at 50 S. Park Place, with its important message before rain washes it away!
The church also held a Monarch butterfly release and a recycling workshop.
