From the Morristown Democratic Committee:

Come for Grillin’ and Chillin’ for Democracy
with the Morristown Democratic Committee

The Morristown Democratic Committee will host a BBQ to celebrate our successes, honor our 2020 volunteers, and gear up for the November election.

The BBQ, “Grillin’ and Chillin’ for Democracy,” will be held on Thursday, Aug. 26, 2021, from 6 pm to 8 pm at Lewis Morris Park in Mendham.

All are invited to safely socialize (masks and social distancing always acceptable!) with the Committee and Morris County’s Democratic candidates. This outdoor event will feature great food, drinks, family fun, and the company of friends who want to save “Democracy.”

Committee Chair Aaron (AJ) Oliver commented: “We’re looking forward to celebrating our 2020 accomplishments with our supporters and their families. Our plan is to build a strong Democratic Party in Morristown by empowering grassroots voters and spreading the word that Democrats are advocates for a better, fairer, and brighter future for every American.”

The Committee’s recent projects in Morristown include voter registration drives, get-out-the-vote activities, and partnering with nourish.NJ; the Interfaith Food Pantry; Our Youth, Their Future, and other local organizations assisting the Morristown community.

Tickets are $30 for families, $25 for couples, $15 for individuals, and invited volunteers are free. Please follow this link for more details or to RSVP and purchase tickets, or email here. Directions and a map will be available with receipt for RSVP.

The Morristown Democratic Committee works to elect Democratic candidates and is committed to Morristown progress and accountable government. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of the month.

To attend meetings, please contact us for the Zoom link or the location for in-person meetings (you don’t have to be a Committee member to attend meetings).
