Hayes, former lead singer of Purple Hayes, was the featured performer in the Arts in the Community free outdoor concert series of the Mayo Performing Arts Center.

Opening for Hayes were her daughters, violinists Anastasia, Alexa, and Arielle.

Their mom began her set with liturgical dance.  Audience members were invited to join her throughout the performance, which included songs from her new EP.

Sharing her recent discovery that life truly begins at 40, the Morristown High alumna advised kids: Be patient.
