From Grow It Green Morristown:

Grow It Green Morristown is pleased to kick off activities at The Urban Farm this summer with the return of many favorites and some new activities.

“Each season I strive to be better than the last, learn from my mistakes and challenge myself to grow more. The beginning of this season there is a light at the end of the tunnel that shines hope and equity for us all. We have sown the seeds of a new season and am excited to offer fresh produce to all that want it,” says Grow It Green Morristown Director of Agriculture & Education Shaun Ananko.

Saturday Farm Stand: Enjoy a variety of seasonal, sustainably grown vegetables, herbs and eggs offered for sale at The Urban Farm to help make it easier for community members to eat fresh. All of our produce is grown right here in Morristown- pesticide-free, and picked right from the ground. SNAP benefits accepted, and we participate in Double Food Bucks program, doubling the value of your SNAP purchase up to $10.

  1. Yes, major credit and thanks for this green space goes to Dot Harvey who worked so hard for so many good things in Morristown. She was a great activist who worked for good things for the people of Morristown….

  2. Grow It Green continues to serve Morristown in even more ways. Remembering how hard Dorothy Harvey worked and picketed to save their original site from redevelopment, creating open space where a junkyard had been for many years.
