UPDATE: These weekly sessions will continue on Tuesdays in June.

The Morristown & Township Library is taking its weekly meditation sessions off-screen and into the woods, starting this Wednesday, June 2, 2021.

Anita Pacheco’s 45-minute Walking Meditation sessions start at 5:30 pm at Foote’s Pond Wood, on James Street, near the Thomas Jefferson School in Morristown.

These sessions will continue every Tuesday in June.

From the library:

We will begin with a mindfulness exercise and then commence walking around the park.  This is a great way to incorporate a new technique into your personal meditation practice.  …Please wear comfortable and appropriate shoes and clothing for walking.  Following the new NJ government guidelines, masks are not needed for COVID vaccinated people who are participating in outdoor activities such as this.
