MOMI to host Virtual ChalkFest this Saturday, May 15th
Join MOMI Museum of Imagination + Innovation on the International Day of Families, Saturday, May 15, 2021, from 9 am to 5 pm for a virtual chalkfest to celebrate families and the Power of Play.
Participate anywhere. The event is FREE, but registration encouraged to show support for MOMI’s mission to build a new museum for NJ families. Participants can register here.
Get outside, reconnect, and make some chalk-based magic together! The purpose of the event is for families to create chalk art together. Participates can tag MOMI on social media @thinkmomi and #momichalkfest2021.
Funding has been made possible in part by funds from Morris Arts, through the NJ State Council of the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts.
A portion of the grant will be used to provide chalk to our social service partners for the families they serve to encourage access and inclusion to this event. To encourage access for all abilities, participants with mobility issues can use black paper or poster board on a level surface.
