After a year’s hiatus, the Morristown United Methodist Church is bringing back its rummage sale. The socially distanced fundraiser will span four days: April 24, 27 and 29, and May 1, 2021.

We are so happy to finally be able to have our Rummage Sale. We were forced to cancel our sale last year because of the COVID pandemic.
Our Rummage Sale is our largest fundraiser for our summer mission trip. We have been holding our rummage sale for over 25 years and it is our 34th year of participating with “The Appalachia Service Project”!
Last year, also due to the pandemic, we were unable to go on our Appalachia Service Project mission trip as it was canceled by the organization.
Normally we send between 6-8 work teams to Central Appalachia to help make homes “warmer, safer, drier” for families in need. Repairs can be any type of construction project.
This year we are still feeling the effects of the pandemic and some of our participants still have concerns about traveling for a mission trip. So this year we are sending two teams to West Virginia and at the same time we will have additional teams working here in Morris County with Habitat for Humanity. Our trip runs from July 4-11.
Our rummage sale pretty much has something for everyone. Our goal is to raise money for our mission trip but we always keep our prices low to help families in need right here in our local Morristown Community. We are always ready to help families in need anyway we can.

- TUES. April 27th: 10 AM-2 PM / 5 PM-8 PM

- SAT. May 1st: 9 AM-2 PM
OUR COVID GUIDELINES:
Safety is our TOP Priority!
- Masks Required at ALL times (covering Mouth & Nose)
- We will also be conducting: Temperature Checks & Tracing Contact Information upon check in.
- Limit of 50 customers allowed in sale space at all times. Social Distancing will be required.
- Hand Sanitizing Stations will be provided, & PPE available upon Request!
